My name is Aisha Khurshed and I am a 22 year old Henna Artist & Calligrapher. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Alberta and have a passion for fine and digital arts. I began my henna journey 8 years ago after having my henna done at a wedding that ultimately inspired me to learn. Throughout the years I have learned from other local artists, have been making my own products and have also ventured into calligraphy and graphic design. I have served various organizations in Edmonton including the UofA Muslim Students Association, UofA Undergraduate Psychology Association, Human Concern International and Ansar Youth Association. I continuously seek to improve and learn new skills in art and design and have a passion for marketing. It is an honour for me to express myself through art and to be part of the ACCA.
