Farahnaz, “The Well-Known Professional Belly Dancer” is originally from Iran. The pioneer of Persian and Belly Dance in Edmonton and the surrounding area, has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, Chartered Professional Human Resources and Child Development Supervisor Certification. 

Because of her heritage and familiarity with the Middle-Eastern culture, she has been choreographing and performing for over two decades in numerous functions, concerts and cultural events. Farahnaz performs for all people with various ethnic background as well as for Caucasians. She is known to Greeks, Turks, Kurds, Persians, Armenians, East Indians, Arabs from all over the middle-east and in particular, the Lebanese. In order to increase her dancing techniques and knowledge, she has taken several workshops from number of renowned international dancers and performers. Currently, Farahnaz performs only for “Special Requests” and “Special Events.”
